Learn more about Electrolysis Hair Removal Service

How long does it does it take to have permanent hair removal?

Electrolysis is a commitment that can take 6 months to a year of coming on a weekly or biweekly basis. There is no Electrologist that can tell you how long it will take. Each person is different. How often you come will determine the amount of time it will take for permanent hair removal. Coming on a weekly basis will ensure a quicker result. If you come less than weekly or biweekly then the hair cycles can be missed and it can take 3 months to a year for that one hair to regrow.

How long does it take to remove hair on each area?

Everyone is different. Also, all areas are different. Facial hair can be more time consuming to remove if there has been a lot of tweezing or waxing. As the hair grows back from the repeated trauma from the forceful hair removal, the hair becomes thicker and more attached. This hair can be removed, it just might take a little more time. The areas where there hasn't been tweezing will be a lot easier to remove and less time consuming and a lot more hair can be removed in a shorter amount of time.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Drink a lot of water. As much as you can safely the day before and the day of. The more water you have to wet the follicle will make the process go a lot quicker and easier for you. A dry follicle will make the extraction more time consuming. There also needs to be at least two days of hair growth.
